1940s WWII Red Cross Volunteer Uniform Dress, Large

Vintage WWII era American Red Cross Volunteer uniform dress, made by Mercantile Uniforms, New York.  Feels like a cotton poplin, is an ultra fine blue/white stripe.  Has a self belt, 2 hand pockets and left chest pocket with a sewn on red felt cross.  Has removable epaulets, with the yellow indicating the Staff Assistance Corps.  Has change buttons as shown, is missing the bottom button (but we are looking for a replacement).  Marked size 14, but measures more like a 10-12 in current sizing.  In very good condition – shows minor wear.  Has a few age spots as shown,  otherwise no damage found.
